Bad Grießbach – diese schöne kleine Ortschaft liegt bei Passau und ist wirklich eine Ruhe- Oase schlechthin. Wer sich entspannen und die wundervolle Natur auf sich wirken lassen will, sollte definitiv her. Hier gibt es wirklich einiges an Natur zu erleben – Wanderrouten, wie zum Beispiel die Waldwunderwelt sind einen Besuch wert und machen gute Laune. Wer aber dann doch eher das Stadt-Feeling nicht missen will, ist von hier aus in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto im schönen märchenhaften Passau.
Warum aber ein ehemaliges Kurhaus zu einer hippen Insider-Location geworden ist, will ich euch nun genauer erläutern. Ja, ihr lest richtig – Kur und Hip können an einem Ort existieren.
Bad Grießbach hat also noch mehr als Natur und Bäder zu bieten, hier gibt es seit nun knapp mehr als einem Jahr auch das 4 Sterne Wellnesshotel 4 Moods – Libertas Suites & Spa Hotel zu finden. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem ehemaligen stillgelegten Kurhaus. Davon merkt man aber als Gast nichts mehr, denn es hat eine Grundsanierung stattgefunden und dementsprechend hip und trendy ist dieses Hotel geworden.
Insgesamt gibt es geräumige und moderne 84 Suiten und Zimmer mit Terrasse oder Balkon. Der Einrichtungsstil ist einladend, sehr clean und skandic chic. Der junge und moderne Flair dieses Hotels lässt das Herz sofort höherschlagen.
Aber warum 4 Moods?! Der Name kommt von den vier Jahreszeiten, daher sind die Zimmer auch an diesem Thema orientiert. Jedes Stockwerk hat sein eigenes Thema und dies zieht sich vom Gang bis in die Zimmer durch. Egal ob Frühling, Sommer, Herbst oder Winter, die Farbgebung und Bilder in den Zimmern passen genau zu dieser Jahreszeit. Wir durften in der Etage des Winters bleiben, hier dominieren Blau- und Grautöne in den Zimmern.
Das 4 Moods ist ideal für Wellnessurlaube, denn der Spa und Wellnessbereich haben bis Mitternacht geöffnet und bieten verschiedene Saunen, einen In- und Outdoorpool und einen gut ausgestatten Fitnessraum. Ich muss sagen, so großzügige Öffnungszeiten habe ich bisher noch nie erlebt und daher waren wir sehr begeistert. So hat man keinen Zeitdruck und kann sogar vor dem Schlafengehen noch ein bisschen im Wellnessbereich entspannen.
Darüber hinaus bietet das Hotel auch eine exquisite Küche an. Sei es beim Frühstück, als auch beim Abendessen, ist die Auswahl und hohe Qualität nicht zu übersehen. Wünsche bleiben hier nicht offen. Übrigens für Langschläfer interessant, Frühstück wird bis 13 Uhr angeboten.
Ein weiteres Highlight ist, dass alle Zimmer mit einem Tablet ausgestattet sind. Solch ein papierloses Informationsmedium ist sehr umweltfreundlich und nachhaltig. Klasse! Dieses Tablet bietet nicht nur all die Infos, die man braucht, sondern auch eine Chatfunktion. Mit dieser Funktion könnt ihr alle Fragen etc. mit der Rezeption klären. Dass nenn ich mal fortschrittlich und innovativ!
Im 4 Moods ist die Liebe zum Detail und zum Trend nicht zu übersehen und man fühlt sich sehr heimisch und wohl. Wunschlos glücklich – ist die Definition für das 4 Moods Hotel in meinen Augen. Ich kann dieses Erwachsenenhotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen und wünsche euch jetzt schon viel Spaß.

Bad Grießbach – this beautiful little village is located near Passau and is really an oasis of peace. If you want to relax and enjoy the wonderful nature, you should definitely come here. There is really a lot of nature to experience here – hiking routes such as the forest wonderland are worth a visit and make you feel good. But if you don’t want to miss the city feeling, you can reach Passau in 20 minutes by car.
But why a former spa house has become a hip insider location, let me now explain to you in more detail. Yes, you read correctly – spa and hip can exist in one place.
Bad Grießbach has more to offer than just nature and baths though; the 4-star wellness hotel 4 Moods – Libertas Suites & Spa Hotel has been available here for just over a year now. The hotel is located in a former disused spa house. But as a guest you don’t recognize any more, because a complete renovation has taken place and accordingly this hotel has become hip and trendy.
There are 84 spacious and modern suites and rooms with terrace or balcony. The furnishing style is inviting, very clean and skandic chic. The young and modern flair of this hotel makes your heart beat faster.
But why 4 Moods?! The name comes from the four seasons, so the rooms are also oriented to this theme. Each floor has its own theme and this goes from the corridor to the rooms. Whether spring, summer, autumn or winter, the colours and pictures in the rooms are just fitting to this time of year. We stayed on the winter floor, where shades of blue and grey dominate the rooms.
The 4 Moods is ideal for wellness holidays, because the spa and wellness area are open until midnight and offer various saunas, an indoor and outdoor pool and a well-equipped gym room. I must say, I have never experienced such generous opening hours and therefore we were very enthusiastic. There is no time pressure and you can even relax a bit in the wellness area before going to bed.
The hotel also offers an exquisite cuisine. Whether at breakfast or at dinner, the choice and high quality cannot be overlooked. Wishes are not left unfulfilled here. By the way interesting for late risers, breakfast is offered until 13 o’clock.
Another highlight is that all rooms are equipped with a tablet. Such a paperless information medium is very environmentally friendly and sustainable. Great! This tablet offers not only all the information you need, but also a chat function. With this function you can clarify all questions etc. with the reception. How progressive and innovative!
In the 4 Moods you recognize the attention to detail and to the trend and you feel at home and comfortable. Wishlessly happy – is the definition of the 4 Moods Hotel in my opinion. I can definitely recommend this adult hotel and wish you already a lot of fun.
