Die PITTI Fashionweek in Florenz/ Italien ist das Fashion-Event schlechthin für die Männerwelt. Hier gibt es nicht nur eine Messe mit allen neuen Trends, sondern auch Modenschauen und einen Inspirationsboom. Man(n) zeigt sich dort in den gewagtesten Outfits und trifft auf viele wichtige Namen der Fashionwelt.
Für mich ging es dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal auf die PITTI und ich möchte all meine Eindrücke dieses Spektakels mit euch teilen. Obwohl der Start zur Fashionweek mit einigen Strapazen am Flughafen begonnen hat, haben die Bereicherungen auf der PITTI dann schließlich alles kompensiert.
Für all diejenigen, die die PITTI nicht kennen, es handelt sich hierbei um eine der größten Messen der Welt bei der sich seit 1972 alles ausschließlich um Männermode dreht. Sie ist zwar nicht die größte Messe, aber eine die Richtung in der Mode angibt. Der wunderschöne und historische Ort, an dem die PITTI Uomo’94 Jahr stattfand ist der Fortezza da Basso in Florenz. Man konnte dort die neuen Trends für die kommende Saison vieler großer bekannter Brands, aber auch kleinerer Hersteller bewundern. Darüber hinaus fand aber auch eine kleine alternative Messe außerhalb des Gebäudes im Open-Air Bereich statt. Man sieht dort kreativste Looks aller Arten und Männer die Fashion grenzenlos ausleben. Darüber hinaus trifft man hier auf bestgekleidete Männer und viele bekannte Persönlichkeiten aus Instagram und Co.
Allgemein sieht man auf der PITTI eher klassische Looks, die aber mit Statement-Accessoires gepimpt werden. Der „Dandy_Gentleman“ hat definitiv auf diesem Event die Oberhand. Der klassische Anzug wird mit buntem Kummerbund, Halstüchern und Mokassins (natürlich ohne Socken) gelockert und am besten mit Farb- und Musterspielereien. Insbesondere lachsfarbene und kobaltblaue Anzüge sind mir hier ins Auge gestochen. Die Hosen sind eng und kurz geschnitten, Knöchel zeigen ist hier ein Must-Do.
Die Hemden sind nach neuem Trend ebenfalls knallig bunt und mit verschiedenen floralen und anderen Mustern im Mittelpunkt. Dabei kann man ruhig das Hemd auch bis zum Ellenbogen locker krempeln bzw. zu einem kurzärmligen Hemd greifen. Grundsätzlich sind mir auch locker fallende und sportliche Oversized Hemden bei den neuen Trends aufgefallen.
Im Hinblick auf die Schuhe sind gemusterte Mokassins und Budapester total im Trend. Aber auch Sportschuhe zu Anzügen sind weiterhin gern gesehen.
Karierte Hosen und gestreifte Anzüge und Hosen sind ein weiteres Merkmal der kommenden Saison. Auch Anzüge im Boho-Style mit handmade Stickereien sind nicht zu vergessen. Daher sollten sie definitiv in keinem Kleiderschrank fehlen.
Accessoires sind natürlich auch ein wichtiger Bestandteil unserer Fashionwelt. Auf der PITTI stach mir insbesondere ein bestimmtes Teil ins Auge, welches ich selbst auch getragen habe, der Panama Hut. Diese Hüte aus Stroh geben dem Outfit einen sommerlichen Touch und lockern selbst den klassischen Anzug auf. Noch dazu sind die Hüte praktisch und schützen vor Hitze. Auch Einstecktücher feiern ein großes Comeback in ganz neuen Steckvarianten und gewagten Mustern. Am besten so schräg und schrill wie es nur geht, ist hier die Devise.
Das großartige an der PITTI war für mich, dass ich hier Fashionliebhaber wie ich selbst auch, aus aller Welt und aus jeder Altersgruppe antreffen konnte. Es ist schön zu sehen, wie Fashion verbindet und eben keine Grenzen und Regeln kennt. Jeder zieht hier an was er will und präsentiert seine Kreativität. Insbesondere die älteren Gäste haben mich sehr beeindruckt und mir nochmals bestätigt, dass Fashion kein Alter hat.
Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, die Fashionwelt wird bunter und gewagter denn je. Uns erwarten Looks, die sich an der Renaissance-Zeit orientieren und sehr grenzenlos sind. Dabei bleibt der klassische Gentleman erhalten, setzt aber auf schrille Statement-Pieces. Ich bin sehr glücklich und dankbar ein Teil der diesjährigen PITTI UOMO’94 gewesen zu sein. Vollgepackt mit prallen Emotionen und neuen Inspirationsideen, freue ich mich schon auf die nächste PITTI. Ich bin erfüllt, denn Fashion lebt weiterhin grenzenlos und ich durfte den Beweis hautnah erleben.

The PITTI Fashionweek in Florence / Italy is the fashion event for men. It is not only a fair with all the new trends, but also fashion shows and a great inspiration source. You can be seen there in the most daring outfits and meet many important names of the fashion world.
This year was my first time at PITTI and I would like to share all my impressions of this spectacle with you. Although the start of Fashionweek started with some exertions at the airport, the enrichments at the PITTI finally compensated everything.
For all those who don’t know the PITTI, this is one of the biggest fairs in the world and since 1972 it has been all about men’s fashion. It’s not the biggest fair, but one that points the way in fashion. The beautiful and historic place where the PITTI Uomo’94 of this year took place is the Fortezza da Basso in Florence. You could admire the new trends for the upcoming season of many well-known brands, but also smaller manufacturers. In addition, there was also a small alternative fair outside the building in the open-air area. You could see the most creative looks of all kinds and men who live out fashion without limits. In addition, you will meet best-dressed men and many well-known personalities from Instagram and Co.
In general, classic looks are more common at PITTI, but they are pimped with statement accessories. The “dandy gentleman” is definitely in focus. The classic suit is loosened up with coloured cummerbund, scarves and moccasins (of course without socks) and preferably with colour and pattern games. Especially salmon and cobalt blue suits caught my eye here. The pants are tight and short cut, showing the ankle is a must-do here.
The shirts are also brightly coloured according to the new trend and focus on different floral and other patterns. The shirt can also be loosely rolled up to the elbow or a short-sleeved shirt. Basically, I also noticed loosely falling and sporty oversized shirts in the new trends.
With regard to the shoes, patterned moccasins and Budapester are all the rage. But also sports shoes for suits are still welcome.
Chequered pants and striped suits and pants are another feature of the coming season. Also suits in boho-style with handmade embroideries are not to be forgotten. Therefore, they should definitely not be missing in any wardrobe.
Accessories are of course also an important part of our fashion world. At the PITTI I was particularly impressed by the Panama hat, which I also wore myself. These hats made of straw give the outfit a summery touch and even loosen up the classic suit. In addition, the hats are practical and protect against heat. Pocket handkerchiefs are also making a big comeback in completely new plug-in versions and daring patterns. The slanting and shrill as possible is the motto here.
The great thing about PITTI was that I was able to meet fashion lovers like myself, from all over the world and from every age group. It’s nice to see how fashion connects and knows no boundaries and rules. Everyone puts on what they want and presents their creativity. I was particularly impressed by the older guests and once again confirmed to me that fashion has no age.
In summary, I can say that the fashion world is becoming more colourful and daring than ever. We can expect looks that are oriented to the Renaissance period and are very boundless. The classic gentleman remains, but relies on shrill statement pieces. I am very happy and grateful to have been a part of this year’s PITTI UOMO’94. Packed with intense emotions and new inspiration ideas, I’m already looking forward to the next PITTI. I am fulfilled, because fashion continues to live boundlessly and I was allowed to experience the proof up close.
