Ausnahmezustand in München – die Welt blickt auf ein großes Spektakel. Ja, ich meine die Wiesn – und außerhalb Bayerns besser bekannt als das Oktoberfest. Rund um die Welt jedoch auch besser bekannt als das große Bierfest. Ja die fünfte Jahreszeit in München hat begonnen.
Jedes Jahr wundert es mich erneut, wie pünktlich zum Oktoberfest der goldene Herbst in Minga (a.k.a. München) einbricht. Das macht dieses Volksfest einfach viel authentischer und es wird seinem Namen ganz gerecht. Als Münchner vergesse ich manchmal, was für ein Highlight vor meiner „Haustüre“ stattfindet.
Einst zu Ehren des königlichen Brautpaares errichtet, findet dieses Jahr das weltbekannte Volksfest zum 185. Mal statt. Natürlich ist das berühmte bayrische Starkbier immer in aller Munde, aber die Wiesn bietet durchaus mehr. Neben leckeren Süßigkeiten und atemberaubenden Fahrgeschäften, ist auch was für das Fashionherz mit dabei.
Man kann auf der Theresienwiese zwar nicht die neusten Streetfashion Trends sehen, aber die neuste Trachtenmode findet man hier mit Sicherheit. Ohne traditioneller Lederhosen und Weste und bei den Damen ohne dem Dirndl, fällt man hier sofort auf und bricht Traditionen. Eine qualitative Tracht ist natürlich sehr wichtig, denn leider gibt es im Rahmen des Wiens-Tourismus auch schlechte Nachahmungen, die sofort auffallen.

A state of emergency in Munich – the world is focused on a great spectacle. Yes, I mean the Wiesn – and outside Bavaria better known as the Oktoberfest. Around the world, however, also better known as the big beer festival. Yes, the fifth season in Munich has begun.
Every year I’m surprised how punctually the golden autumn starts in Minga (a.k.a. Munich) for the Oktoberfest. That simply makes this festival much more authentic. As a resident of Munich, I sometimes forget what a highlight takes place in front of my “door”.
Once built in honour of the royal bride and groom, this year the world-famous Oktoberfest takes place for the 185th time. Of course, everyone knows the famous Bavarian strong beer, but the Wiesn offers a lot more. Beside tasty sweets and breathtaking rides, there is also something for the fashion heart.
You can’t see the latest street fashion trends on the Theresienwiese, but you’re sure to find the latest traditional Bavarian fashion here. Without traditional Lederhosen and waistcoat and without the Dirndl for the ladies, you immediately stand out here and break traditions. Of course, a qualitative costume is very important, because unfortunately there are also bad imitations in the context of the Oktoberfest tourism.
