Die Vorweihnachtszeit hat angefangen und nicht nur eine besinnliche, sondern auch stressvolle Zeit beginnt. Jedes Jahr erneut, stehen wir vor der Qual der Wahl, was wir unseren Liebsten schenken könnten. Natürlich wollen wir nur das Beste. Als erstes kommen einem die klassischen Geschenke, wie Schmuck und Parfum in den Kopf. Aber das kann jeder! Wäre es nicht schön, sich dieses Jahr mal abzuheben und etwas ganz Individuelles schenken?! Ihr wollt meine ultimative Geschenkidee wissen? Dann lest unbedingt weiter…
Wie wäre es mit einem Geschenk, das gleich zwei Mal eine Freude bereitet?! Mit Reisegeschenken ist dies möglich. Man macht nicht nur in dem ersten Augenblick des Schenkens glücklich, sondern auch beim späteren Verreisen ist man happy. Noch dazu ist es kein Geschenk, was aufgebraucht wird oder im Regal verstaubt – nein, viel mehr erlebt man gemeinsam unvergessliche Momente. Die gemeinsamen Erlebnisse und die bereisten Orte bleiben uns immer in Erinnerung und erweitern unseren Horizont.
Arzu und ich lieben es zu reisen und neue Orte zu entdecken, diese gemeinsamen Momente wärmen das Herz aus dem tiefsten Inneren. Leider haben wir aber oft nicht genug Zeit, um große Recherchen vor dem Buchen zu betreiben. Daher ist es uns wichtig, alles aus einer Hand zu bekommen. Jetzt denkt ihr vielleicht an Reisebüros, aber dafür bleibt auch nicht viel Zeit und wir finden es umständlich extra ins Reisebüro zu fahren. Mit EXPEDIA geht das alles aber super einfach von zu Hause aus und wir bekommen vom Mietwagen bis hin zu großartigen Hotels alles über ein Portal. Selbst unsere großen Reisen wie Tokio und Co. organisieren wir immer über EXPEDIA. Aber nicht nur Fernreisen bekommt man hier, sondern auch großartige Hotels und Kurztrips innerhalb Deutschlands. Insbesondere kann man in der Vorweihnachtszeit einen kurzen Trip zu einem der besonderen Weihnachtsmärkte in der Nähe machen, und findet dazu bestimmt ein passendes Hotel auf Expedia.
Deshalb habe ich unser Staycation Experience innerhalb Deutschlands am letzten Wochenende auch über EXPEDIA organisiert und gebucht. Um bereits jetzt in die weihnachtliche Stimmung zu kommen, sind wir letztes Wochenende nämlich an den Chiemsee gereist. Der Chiemsee bietet nicht nur eine wunderschöne Natur, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen, sondern auch einen verzaubernden Weihnachtsmarkt auf der Fraueninsel.
So ging es also für uns zunächst nach Ruhpolding, in das tolle Hotel zur Post. Das Hotel ist ein traditionsreiches und modernes Wellnesshotel. Man wird hier auch herzlich durch die familiäre Atmosphäre empfangen. Wir haben uns bei der Buchung auf die Bewertungen auf EXPEDIA verlassen und wurden auch nicht enttäuscht, das Zimmer war wirklich wie auf dem Bild abgebildet. Es verlief alles reibungslos. Und das reiche Frühstücksbuffet hat uns sehr gefallen.
Vom Hotel zur Post aus, ist es auch nicht weit zum Chiemsee und so sind wir von Prien aus mit der Fähre zur Herreninsel mit Zwischenstopp am Schloss Herrenchiemsee anschließend zur Fraueninsel gefahren. In meinen Instagram Stories habt ihr sicherlich unsere schönen Erlebnisse bereits verfolgen können. Der Weihnachtsmarkt auf der Fraueninsel ist ein besonderes Erlebnis. Kleine Hütten mit allerlei schönen Dingen und Leckereien sind auf der ganzen Insel verteilt. Insbesondere die leckeren Renken-Fischsemmel müsst ihr auf jeden Fall vor Ort probieren.
Im Kontrast dazu, hat man auf dem Herrenchiemsee eine schöne ruhige Naturkulisse und das prachtvolle Schloss Herrenchiemsee, das wir vor dem Weihnachtsmarkt besucht haben.
Es tut gut ab und zu aus dem Alltagsstress der Stadt herauszukommen und für ein paar Tage einen Ausflug innerhalb Deutschlands zu machen. Mit EXPEDIA ist dies super leicht zu organisieren und man bekommt wirklich super Angebote und eine große Auswahl an Hotels. Ganz ohne Stress kann man die Momente dann vor Ort viel besser genießen und auch mal einen Glühwein mehr trinken, wenn man über Nacht bleibt.

Arzu and I love to travel and discover new places, these shared moments warm the heart from the deepest inside. Unfortunately, we often don’t have enough time to do a lot of research before booking. Therefore it is important for us to get everything from one source. Now you might think of travel agencies, but there is not much time for that and we find it awkward to go to the travel agency. But you don’t only get long-haul trips here, but also great hotels and short trips within Germany. Especially in the pre-Christmas season you can make a short trip to one of the special Christmas markets nearby, and will certainly find a suitable hotel on Expedia.
That’s why I organized and booked our Staycation Experience within Germany last weekend via EXPEDIA. In order to get to the Christmas mood, we travelled to Lake Chiemsee last weekend. Chiemsee offers not only a beautiful nature to relax your soul, but also a fantastic Christmas market on the Fraueninsel.
So we first went to Ruhpolding, to the great ‚Hotel zur Post‘. The hotel is a traditional and modern wellness hotel. You will also be warmly welcomed here by the familiar atmosphere. When booking, we relied on the reviews on EXPEDIA and were not disappointed, the room was really as shown in the picture. Everything went smoothly. And we really liked the rich breakfast buffet.
From the ‚Hotel zur Post‘ it is also not far to Lake Chiemsee and so we took the ferry from Prien to Herreninsel with a stopover at Schloss Herrenchiemsee and then to Fraueninsel. In my Instagram Stories you have surely already been able to follow our beautiful experiences. The Christmas market on the Fraueninsel is a special experience. Small huts with all kinds of nice things and delicacies are spread all over the island. Especially the delicious Renken-Fischsemmel you have to try on the spot.
In contrast to this, the Herrenchiemsee has a beautiful, quiet natural backdrop and the magnificent Herrenchiemsee Castle, which we visited before the Christmas market.
It is good to get out of the everyday stress of the city from time to time and make an excursion within Germany for a few days. With EXPEDIA this is super easy to organize and you get really great offers and a large selection of hotels. You can enjoy the moments much better without any time pressure and drink more Glühwein if you stay overnight.
