Es gibt wohl kaum jemanden, der nicht die Ortschaft Bodrum in der Türkei kennt. Bodrum liegt an der schönen blauen Ägäis und ist besonders beliebt bei Einheimischen und Touristen als luxuriöses Urlaubsziel.
Bodrum ist ein Ort, der es möglich macht sowohl das Grüne als auch das Meer zu kombinieren. Hier kann man sowohl in der Natur wandern, Bergsteigen als auch entspannt am Meer relaxen. Dabei sind insbesondere die kleinen blau-weißen Stein-Häuschen für Bodrum bekannt. Ein perfekter mediterraner Flair.
Wenn man in Bodrum-Stadt ist, sollte man unbedingt der historischen Burg (Bodrum Kale) und den authentischen Windmühlen einen Besuch abstatten.
Ein ganz besonderes weiteres Highlight Bodrums ist das Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Cennet Koyu. Ein ruhiger Rückzugsort um innere Ruhe und völlige Entspannung zu erleben. Für uns war dieses Hotel nicht nur durch das warme und herzliche Personal wie ein Zuhause, sondern auch ein Urlaubserlebnis der Extraklasse.
Das Resort ist ein eigenes kleines Städtchen mit tollen Shopping Möglichkeiten wie Chanel, Beymen und Co. Außerdem gibt es zwei tolle Privatstrände und ein Wassersportzentrum. Am Strand gibt es einen Komplettservice – den Wünschen sind wirklich keine Grenzen gesetzt. Im MO Bodrum kann man relaxen, faulenzen, segeln, schwimmen, spazieren gehen und im warmen, klaren Wasser der Ägäis windsurfen. Das Angebot an Aktivitäten ist groß und es wird auch versucht andere Wünsche der Gäste stets möglich zu machen.
Selbstverständlich gibt es auch tolle Pools und einen großen Spa-Bereich.
Schon bei Ankunft wird man im Hotel von einem gigantischen Panoramablick über die blaue Ägäis überwältigt. Das Mandarin Oriental Bodrum bietet den ultimativen Luxus im mediterranen Stil auf der Nordseite der Halbinsel Bodrum.
Ein Fest für die Sinne sind auch die 12 Gourmet Einrichtungen, Lounges und Bars, die Speisen aus aller Welt vereinen und zelebrieren. Hier ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei.
Sauberkeit, Service, Freundlichkeit, Architektur, Natur und Kulinarik – hier trifft Perfektion zusammen.
Vom Mandarin Oriental aus kann man auch alle Ecken von Bodrum super erreichen. Insbesondere den Ort Gümüslük. Hier kann man super schön frischen Fisch und andere türkische Delikatessen bei romantischer Atmosphäre direkt am Meer genießen. Wir persönlich waren im Mimoza und Melengeç und können den Flair empfehlen.
Selbstverständlich ist auch Yalikavak Marina ein Must-See. Luxus und Architektur an einem Ort. Hier kann man nicht nur super shoppen, sondern auch in den vielen Restaurants und Bars kulinarisch genießen. Hier findet man auch unter anderem Filialen von Nusr-Et, Gunaydin Kebap, Vakko Café und Bagatelle.
Eine weitere absolute Herzensempfehlung ist das Zai in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums von Bodrum. Das Zai ist ein Ort der Literatur, Kunst, Natur und Kulinarik. In Mitten einer ruhigen begrünten Anlage kann man leckere Pizza, Burger und Kuchen genießen, sowie im Anschluss Ausstellungen besuchen. Wir waren so fasziniert, dass wir sogar zwei mal dort waren.
Bodrum ist wirklich ein bezaubernder und schöner Ort. Man kann hier vieles unternehmen und sehen. Das Meer ist perfekt und die Menschen sehr nett. Mit dem Aufenthalt im Mandarin Oriental wird das Bodrum- Erlebnis in meinen Augen perfekt abgerundet.

There is hardly anyone who does not know Bodrum in Turkey. Bodrum is located on the beautiful blue Aegean Sea and is especially popular among locals and tourists as a luxury vacation destination.
Bodrum is a place that makes it possible to combine both the green and the sea. Here you can go hiking in nature, mountain climbing as well as relaxing by the sea. In particular, the small blue and white stone houses are famous for Bodrum. A perfect Mediterranean flair.
Of course, you should give a visit to the Bodrum Castle and the authentic historical windmills once you are here.
A very special further highlight of Bodrum is the Mandarin Oriental in Cennet Koyu. A quiet retreat to experience inner peace and complete relaxation. For us, this hotel was like home because of the warm and welcoming staff, and also a next-level holiday experience.
The resort is like an own little town with great shopping opportunities like Chanel, Beymen and Co. There are also two great private beaches and a water sports center. There is a full service at the beach – there really is no limit to what you can ask for. In MO Bodrum you can implement everything you want to do from relaxing, lounging, sailing, swimming, walking and windsurfing in the warm clear waters of the Aegean.
Of course, there are also great pools and a big spa area.
As soon as you arrive at the hotel, you’re overwhelmed by gorgeous panoramic view of the blue Aegean Sea. The Mandarin Oriental Bodrum offers the ultimate Mediterranean-style luxury holidays on the Bodrum peninsula.
Also a feast for the senses are the 12 gourmet restaurants, lounges and bars that combine and celebrate food from around the world. There is always something special here for every taste.

From the Mandarin Oriental, you can also reach all corners of Bodrum very well. Especially the place Gümüslük. Here you can enjoy fish and other Turkish delicacies in a romantic atmosphere. We personally were in the Mimoza and Melengeç and can recommend the flair.
Of course, Yalikavak Marina is also a must-see. Luxury and architecture in one place. Here you can not only go shopping, but also enjoy culinary in the many restaurants and bars. Here you will also find, among others, branches of Nusr-Et, Gunaydin Kebap, Vakko Café and Bagatelle.
Another absolute heart recommendation is the Zai near the center of Bodrum. Zai is a place that combines literature, art, nature and cuisine. In the middle of a silent green backyard you can enjoy delicious pizza, burgers and cakes as well as visit exhibitions afterwards. We were so fascinated that we even went there twice.
Bodrum is really a charming and beautiful place. There are many things to do and see here. The sea is perfect and the people are very nice. With the stay at the Mandarin Oriental, the Bodrum experience is perfectly rounded off in my eyes.
