Die Berchtesgadener Alpen sind ein absolutes Naturspektakel und ein Highlight in Bayern. Viele kennen diesen wundervollen Ort inmitten der Natur und verbinden damit pure Erholung.
Für uns ging es zum ersten Mal in diese Region Bayerns, obwohl wir in München leben und es nicht weit haben.
Berchtesgaden bietet aber nicht nur eine schöne Altstadt und Routen für Wanderungen, sondern dort befindet sich auch das Wellnesshotel KEMPINSKI HOTEL BERCHTESGADEN. Ein Traumort, mitten in einer idyllischen Berglandschaft. Mit seiner exklusiven Lage auf 1000 m Höhe, wird man bereits bei Ankunft von dem unfassbar schönen Ausblick empfangen. Das Kempinski Hotel ist ein perfekter Rückzugsort, um dem Trubel des Alltags zu entkommen und der Seele Entspannung zu gönnen. Hier trifft der gewohnte 5-Sterne-Luxus der Kempinski Hotels auf die freundlich-familiäre bayrische Gemütlichkeit. Für uns war bereits der erste Moment, in dem wir so herzlich und familiär empfangen wurden, ein Feeling wie „Dahoam”. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten und haben sogar einen Kamin. Wir haben uns in unser kuscheliges Zimmer mit der tollen Aussicht auf die Natur einfach verliebt. Mit einem Gläschen Wein und dem Knistern des Kamins, kann man einfach nur die Seele baumeln lassen. Das Hotel bietet neben einem tollen Garten und der Signature Schaukel Hutschn, mit der man bis in die Wolken schwebt, einen großen Spa-Bereich. Natürlich gibt es auch einen In- und Outdoor Pool, sowie tolle Sportangebote in der Natur. Wir haben uns aber für eine leichte Wanderung durch den Bergwald mit Aussicht auf die Bergwelt entschieden. Die Route ist ideal für Anfänger und Touren sind sehr gemütlich zu gehen – also perfekt für uns! Im Anschluss gab es dann noch eine Runde Entspannung am Pool – besser kann man einen Tag nicht ausklingen lassen. Doch – es geht noch besser! Eine perfekte Kulinarik bietet das Hotel Kempinski Berchtesgaden auch noch an. Im Gourmet Michelin Stern Restaurant PUR und Restaurant Johann Grill, gibt es das ideale Feinschmecker-Erlebnis. Hier kann man von bayrischen Schmankerl bis hin zur klassischen europäischen Küche alles finden. Ein Traum!
Nach so entspannenden und wundervollen Tagen fällt der Abschied von dieser Wohlfühl-Oase gar nicht leicht. Eines ist jedoch jetzt bereits klar, Arzu und ich werden diesen Ort definitiv erneut besuchen.

For us it was the first time to this region of Bavaria, although we live in Munich and it’s just few hours of ride away.

A dream place, in the middle of the mountain landscape. With its exclusive location at 1000 m above sea level, you will be greeted by the unbelievably beautiful view as soon as you arrive. The Kempinski Hotel is a perfect retreat to escape the hustle of everyday life and to allow your soul to relax. Here, the usual 5-star luxury of the Kempinski Hotels meets the friendly and familiar Bavarian coziness. For us, from the very first moment we were welcomed so warmly. It was a feeling like the Bavarian “Dahoam”. The rooms are spacious and even have a fireplace. We have settled into our cozy room with the great view of nature and simply felt in love. With a glass of wine and the crackling of the fireplace, you can just let your soul chill out. The hotel offers a great garden and the signature swing Hutschn, with which you can float up to the clouds, and a large spa area. Of course, there is also an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as great sports facilities in the nature. However, we opted for an easy hike through the mountain forest, with views of the mountains. The route is ideal for beginners and count as leisurely tours – so perfect for us! Afterwards there was a round of relaxation by the pool – you cannot end a day better than this. But – it can be even better! The Hotel Kempinski Berchtesgaden also offers the perfect culinary experience. In the Gourmet Michelin star restaurant PUR and restaurant Johann Grill, there is the ideal gourmet experience waiting for you. Here you can find everything from Bavarian delicacies to classic European cuisine. A dream!
After such relaxing and wonderful days, it is not at all easy to say goodbye to this oasis of well-being. But one thing is already clear, Arzu and I will definitely visit this place again.
