A dream between Europe and Asia – Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus

Istanbul – the metropolis that never sleeps. Pulsating, lively and an example of a successful symbiosis between modernity and the Orient. I know of no other city – and we have traveled a lot – that offers so many different cultural contrasts and historical spots.

We have been to Istanbul several times and each time we discover new corners of this city. But this time we chose our home base, the Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus on the European side of Istanbul.
This still very new member of the Mandarin Oriental hotel chain, is located directly on the shore of the Bosphorus with a view of the famous Bosphorus Bridge. A highlight for romantic nights in Istanbul.

The urban resort overlooking the sea and greenery offers various restaurants and spa facilities as well as 3 individual hammams. A luxurious retreat that makes it possible to experience the dream of 1001 nights.
The hotel also offers a range of social and business venues for events.

Inspired by the beautiful palaces of Istanbul, the interior of the hotel was created combining the rich Ottoman heritage with contemporary design concepts. Here you feel at home and comfortable from the first second.

With the exquisite Novikov restaurant, Olea Bosphorus and The Bar, a classically styled bar, a lobby lounge with waterfront terrace, and a poolside bar in a garden oasis, Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul is a fine gourmet temple. Novikov Istanbul serves a fusion of Italian, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisine, and Olea Bosphorus offers signature Italian cuisine dishes sourced specifically from Italy. We also heartily recommend a visit to MO Istanbul’s patisserie. Here you will find a great dessert selection from classics like macarons or profiteroles to healthy gluten-free tarts without sugar. All very, very tasty.

The Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus is a recommendation from the heart and made us feel the warmth and hospitality from the first moment with its friendly and helpful staff. I can say we have found our home base in Istanbul.
