Barbecue Season – Ready, steady, Weber!

Vor ein paar Tagen ging es für mich auf ein ganz besonderes Event im Heart in München, dem Launch des neuen WEBER Elektro-Grills: die Weber Pulse Serie. Das Heart war regelrecht zu einer riesigen Grill-Party dekoriert und es standen überall prächtige Grills. Gleich angekommen, haben mich himmlische Düfte von gegrilltem Fleisch, Fisch bis hin zu Pizza empfangen. Und ja es gab auch eine Nachspeise vom Grill: Schokosoufflé vom Grill. Da grummelt mir noch immer der Magen, wenn ich dran denke. Um ehrlich zu sein, konnte ich bereits nach dem ersten Bissen nicht glauben, dass es sich hier um den Launch eines Elektrogrills handelt. Der Geschmack der Speisen war so intensiv nach richtig gegrilltem Fleisch und hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Leider gibt es ja sehr viele Vorurteile gegenüber Elektrogrills und Gasgrills hingegen sind absolut gehypt. Doch ich finde wenn man einen richtig guten Elektrogrill hat, der die richtige Temperatur erreicht und das Fleisch richtig grillt, dann kann man auch damit super grillen und ähnliche Ergebnisse wie mit Gas erzielen. Alles also eine Sache des kompetenten “Grillmeisters”.

Ja ihr hört richtig, Elektro ist hier also das Stichwort des Events gewesen. Die Besonderheiten und Eigenschaften des Weber Pulse 2000 Elektrogrills wurden uns von dem bekannten Koch und Grillmeister vorgestellt. Nach all den Schlemmereien und der Erkundschaftung des Grills, hält er in meinen Augen, das was der Name verspricht. Bei den Gadgets hat mir insbesondere der mechanisch betriebene Grillhendl Aufsatz sehr gut gefallen und ist auf jeder Grillparty ein Highlight. Darüber hinaus, hätte ich nie gedacht, dass Pizza vom Pizzastein auf dem Grill wie Pizza aus dem Steinofen in Italien schmecken kann. So knusprig und lecker.

WEBER hat mich persönlich mit diesem neuen Elektrogrill überzeugt. Ich war bisher auch immer ein Fan von Gasgrills, aber Weber’s neue Pulse Serie kommt geschmacklich jeden Gasgrill gleich und überzeugt auch als Grill für den modernen Lifestyle mit maximalem Grillkomfort. Mit seinem Rollwagen sieht er zudem auch stylish aus und passt perfekt auf unsere Dachterasse. A few days ago I had a very special event at Heart in Munich, the launch of the new WEBER electric grill: the Weber Pulse series. The Heart was literally decorated for a huge barbecue party and there were magnificent grills everywhere. Having arrived there, heavenly scents of grilled meat, fish and pizza have received me. And yes, there was also a dessert: chocolate souffle from the grill. To be honest, I could not believe after the first bite that this is the launch of an electric grill. The taste of the food was so intense of properly grilled meat and tasted very delicious. Unfortunately, there are a lot of prejudices about electric grills. Gas grills, on the other hand, are absolutely hyped. But I think if you have a really good electric grill that reaches the right temperature and grills the meat properly, then you can achieve similar results as with gas. Everything is therefore a matter of the competent “grill master”.

Yes, you hear right, “electro” was the keyword of the event. The features and characteristics of the Weber Pulse 2000 electric grill were introduced to us by the well-known chef and grill master.
