I have this thing with animals – und ihr so?!
Meine lieben Leser, ich denke der aktuellste Trend entgeht momentan keinem. Die Tiere sind los auf den Modeplattformen und in den Shops – ja es geht um nichts anderes als die Animalprints.
Sie kommen und gehen schon etliche Saisons und Jahrzehnten und sind daher unverzichtbar in dem Kleiderschrank eines jeden Modeliebhabers. Mein Tipp: beim Aussortieren immer solche Prints bei Seite legen und aufheben.
Bisher war immer der Leoprint sehr präsent und im Fokus, doch diese Saison gibt es einen Begleiter für die Leoparden, nämlich den Schlangenprint. Leo ist defintiv weiterhin ein classy animalprint und unverzichtbar, doch die Schlange bringt nun etwas rassiges mit ins Spiel.
Der Schlangenprint ist durch seine flockige Art sehr dezent und wirkt daher trotz Printcharakter sehr ruhig und nicht dominant. Daher kann man ihn auch gut mit anderen Prints, knalligen Farben und schweren Stoffen kombinieren. Da macht es uns unser geliebter Leopard etwas schwerer mit dem Kombinieren und wirkt schnell „billig“ bzw. zu verspielt.
Es gibt einmal die grau-weiße und zum anderen die bräunliche Ausführung des Reptilienlooks. Beide Varianten sind harmonisch und können gut gestylt werden. Daher scheut euch nicht davor und greift diesen Herbst zu solchen Mustern.
Ich persönlich hätte nicht gedacht, Schlangenprint jemals zu tragen, doch dieser Trend gefällt mir nun sehr gut und ich greife öfters mal zu solchen Mustern. Daher sollte man niemals Vorurteile haben und für alles Neue versuchen offen zu sein.
Eines steht fest: diese winterliche Saison ist und bleibt sehr animalisch!

My dear readers, I don’t think anyone is missing the latest trend at the moment. The animals are on the fashion platforms and in the shops – yes, it’s all about animal prints.
They have come and gone for several seasons and decades and are therefore indispensable in the wardrobe of every fashion lover. My tip: when sorting out, always put such prints aside and save them.
So far the leopard print has always been very present and in focus, but this season there is a companion for the leopards, the snake print. Leo is definitely still a classy animalprint and indispensable, but the snake now brings something racy into the game.
The snake print is very discreet due to its flaky nature and therefore looks very calm and not dominant despite its print character. Therefore you can combine it well with other prints, bright colours and heavy fabrics. So our beloved leopard makes it a bit harder for us to combine and quickly looks “cheap” or too playful.
There is the grey-white and the brownish version of the reptile print. Both variants are harmonious and can be well styled. So don’t be afraid of it and use such patterns this autumn.
Personally, I didn’t think I’d ever wear snake prints, but now I like this trend very much and I often use such patterns. So you should never be prejudiced and try to be open to anything new.
One thing is certain: this winter season is and will remain very animalistic!
