Home sweet Home – Monochrome Chic

Euer,
Mr.Gentleguy

Some time ago, my wife Arzu and I moved to our new home. Since many of you have asked for an interior blog post after posting some insights on my Insta stories, I would like to give you a look into our home and our interior.

Of course, a new home also means a new furnishing. Just like in fashion, it is important for us to express our own style in the interior area as well. A convinient home means feeling comfortable in it, and you can only do that if the style is representing your own lifestyle and is an expression of your own creativity. Therefore, it was very important for us to invest time in this mega-project. We never thought it would take that long, but now we are happy with the result. During this long phase, we were asked from all sides, when our home finally would be finished. Now the time has come! Of course, I’d like to show you the result of this time-consuming project.

In particular, it was important for us not to create “perfect” styled rooms, but rather to work with style breaks and different elements from different styles. For example, on the one side the elegant and classic bar elements and on the other side the rustic buffalo fur. Our plans for the kitchen: fine black meets monochrome concrete. Therefore, I must admit, we have never really been happy with our furniture stores and have often been unable to find our items in mind in the typical large furniture stores. The internet and insider shops have really been a great support here.

During this phase, we took inspiration from everywhere and browsed all sorts of interior magazines and websites. In doing so, we have been able to solidify our preference for the monochrome chic look with gold details. It should be very clean, yet stylish and not too cool. Therefore, despite their simplicity, they still love the subtle detail of gold and the dominant main colors of black and royal blue. If you look closely, you will also notice the Berry tones in one or the other decorative element. We find it relaxing to mix these three colors.

Overall, it was not so easy with all the ideas in mind to finally decide on things. Nonetheless, we have created this result for our sweet home and are very happy.

We feel very well in our new apartment and look forward to your feedback.

Your,
Mr.Gentleguy
