Was hat der Glöckner von Notre Dame in München und erst recht im Sofitel Bayerpost verloren?! Das will ich euch in diesem Blogpost genauer erzählen.
Es gibt wohl kaum einen, der den Romanklassiker von Victor Hugo sowie den Disney Klassiker “DER GLÖCKNER VON NOTRE DAME” nicht kennt. Schon als Zeichentrickfilm reißt einen die Geschichte von Quasimodo mit und geht einem zu Herzen. Jetzt stellt euch diese wunderschöne Geschichte über Liebe, Hass und Leidenschaft als Musical vor.
Für mich ging es nämlich letzte Woche zu einem ganz besonderen Event. Im SOFITEL MUNICH BAYERPOST gab es ein Blogger Meet & Greet Dinner mit den Hauptdarstellern des Musicals, bevor ich das Stück dann im Deutschen Theater bewundern durfte. Dieses einzigartige Erlebnis fand im exklusiven Magnifique Apartement im Sofitel Bayerpost statt. Ihr müsst wissen, das Sofitel ist eine französische Hotelkette und passt somit perfekt zu diesem Musical, da dessen Geschichte in Paris spielt.
Diese Suite ist wirklich traumhaft und macht seinem Namen alle Ehre – ich kann dazu nur “MAGNIFIQUE” sagen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr edel und modern, man fühlt sich hier auf anhieb sehr wohl und geborgen.
Angekommen in dieser tollen Location, durften wir Blogger den Hauptdarstellern des Musicals alle Fragen stellen, die uns interessierten und nebenbei französische Delikatessen verkosten. Da fühlt man sich gleich wie in Paris. Die Darsteller David Jakobs (Quasimodo), Felix Martin (Erzdiakon Claude Rollo) und Maximilian Mann (Hauptmann Phoebus De Martin) standen uns Frage und Antwort und haben wirklich nichts unbeantwortet gelassen. Ich fand zum Beispiel sehr interessant, dass sie jeden Tag fit auf der Bühne stehen müssen, um ihre live Performance durch zu führen. An Wochenende sogar müssen sie zwei mal am Tag das Stück spielen. Es ist auch sehr bewundernswert, wie jeder einzelne Schritt im Rahmen der Choreographie perfekt sitzen muss, um die Wow-Momente fehlerfrei zu übermitteln. Die Darsteller leisten wirklich harte Arbeit, um uns zu beglücken. Ich kann auch eines nach diesem Meet & Greet überzeugt sagen, und zwar dass ein Musical wirklich harte Arbeit ist und viele Mitwirkende dahinter stecken, bis wir es final auf der Bühne sehen. Den Darstellern gebührt auf jeden Fall größter Respekt.
Nach dieser genussvollen und interessanten Runde im SOFITEL ging es dann auf der Rikscha zum Deutschen Theater. Das Hotel ist wirklich ideal gelegen am Hauptbahnhof und man erreicht somit das Deutsche Theater in nur 5 Minuten. Die Rikscha-Fahrt war sehr romantisch und hat den französischen Flair nochmals unterstrichen, sodass die Vorfreude auf das Musical immer größer wurde.
Das Deutsche Theater ist perfekt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhof gelegen und wurde nach seiner großen Renovierung in frischem Flair 2014 wieder eröffnet.
Schon beim Betreten des Saals hat man sich wie in der Kathedrale von Notre Dame gefühlt und wir konnten den letzten “Gong” kaum abwarten. Ich möchte auch gar nicht zu viel vorwegnehmen, denn ihr müsst diese Aufführung unbedingt anschauen. Das Gänsehaut-Feeling ist über 2 Stunden hinweg dauerhaft geblieben und jeder einzelne Klang ist unter die Haut gegangen. Hier bekommt man nicht nur ein musikalisches Highlight zu sehen, sondern auch tänzerisch und schauspielerisch wird hier eine Menge geboten. Arzu und ich sind aus dem Staunen nicht rausgekommen und sind mit einem Strahlen im Gesicht am Ende des Abends heim gefahren.
Dieses Erlebnis der besonderen Art ist momentan in München im Deutschen Theater noch bis zum 7. Januar 2018 zu bewundern. Ich fand es persönlich einen unvergesslichen Abend und möchte an dieser Stelle ein großes Lob an alle Mitwirkenden an diesem tollen Musical aussprechen.

What does „The hunchback of Notre Dame“ has to do with Munich and even with the Sofitel Bayerpost? I want to tell you more about this in this blog post.
There is hardly anyone who doesn’t know the novel classic of Victor Hugo and the Disney classic “THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME”. Even as a cartoon, the story of Quasimodo goes into your heart. Now imagine this beautiful story about love, hate and passion as a musical.
For me, last week has been a very special event. A Blogger Meet & Greet Dinner with the leading actors of the musical took place in the SOFITEL MUNICH BAYERPOST before we all went to „Deutsches Theater“ to admire the musical. This unique experience was held in the exclusive Magnifique apartment in Sofitel Bayerpost. You must know, the Sofitel is a French hotel chain and fits in perfectly with this musical as its story takes place in Paris.
This suite is really “MAGNIFIQUE”. The decor is very classy and modern and you feel very well and welcome.
Arrived in this great location, we bloggers were allowed to ask the actors all the questions that was of interest to us. The chat with the performers David Jakobs (Quasimodo), Felix Martin (Archdeacon Claude Rollo) and Maximilian Mann (Captain Phoebus De Martin) was a lot of fun. We gained many insights and for instance, I found it very interesting that they have to be fit on the stage every day to perform their live performance. At the weekend they even have to play twice a day. It is also very admirable how each step in the choreography has to fit perfectly in order to convey the wow-moments without mistakes. The performers really work hard to make us happy. I can also say one thing after this Meet & Greet, a musical is really hard work and has many contributors backstage. The performers deserve the most respect.
After this enjoyable and interesting round in the SOFITEL we were taken to the „Deutsches Theater“ on a rickshaw. The hotel is ideally located at the main station and you can reach the venue in just 5 minutes. The rickshaw ride was very romantic and underlined the French flair again, so that the anticipation of the musical was getting bigger.
Already on entering the hall you felt like in the cathedral of Notre Dame and we could hardly wait for the last “gong”. I do not want to spoil too much, because I highly recommend you to watch this musical live on stage. You don’t only get a musical highlight, but also a lot of dancing and acting. Arzu and I enjoyed the performance a lot.
This musical can currently be admired in Munich at the „Deutsches Theater“ until January 7, 2018. I personally think it was an unforgettable evening and would like to express my sincere thanks to all participants in this great musical.
